Master Meditation by Not Meditating
In this episode, I explore the concept of meditation through the lens of "non-meditation," drawing parallels to the poem "Dust if You Must" and the idea of "being" versus "doing." I explain that the key to meditation isn't about actively trying to achieve a state, but rather about letting go of our preconceived notions and expectations, much like clearing muddy water by leaving it undisturbed. A crucial takeaway is that true insight arises when we stop conceptualizing meditation and simply allow ourselves to "be with what is," observing our thoughts and experiences without judgment. This practice helps us see reality as it is, moving beyond the stories we create and leading to a more profound understanding of existence, akin to appreciating a rose for simply being a rose.
